For a practical work in class I had to realize some communciation actions for the Carnival of Granville!. In groups of two, we did the communication strategy, and then each one had to do a poster, a logo and a brandboard for an event. For me it was the carnival of Granville. I did the poster and logo on Illustrator and the brandboard on InDesign. You can discover it by clicking the button below !

This Cupid that you can find on the « love love love » poster felt like it took forever to make ! But I’m very proud of the visual after only a few hours making it. The purpose of the exercice was to practise Illustrator by making a poster after a collage or drawing we realised in our creative notebooks. I replicated one of the collage I made with hearts I took form a magazine of the Clermont-Ferrand city and really good looking Cupids I found on Pinterest.

This is my second work on Photoshop. I was practising carving out fruits and vegetables in order to replicate a poster from mangerbouger.fr a famous french govermental website. It makes me think a little of Arcimboldo works (just a little, little bit).

This work involved choosing a monochrome palette (here in the middle) and associating it with an emotion. Then I had to choose the complementary palette, and then a paIette (in the right) with a dominant color, a secundary color, an accent color and two neutrals. Ichoose the emotion ‘calming, soothing’ and decide to illustrate it by drawing this yogi girl and her spiritual transcendance. My favourite is the monochromic one !

This one has been entirely drawn with the feather tool of Illustrator. The typography was also made by hand !

For this work in autonomy, I had to realise a Christmas and New Eve post card for the AIDER association in Lezoux. It’s a few hours work but I’m very proud of it. It tried to represent the Christmas spirit, while representing the united and warm spirit of the association.
